Fields is survived by his wife of 56 years Christine, children Kenneth Jr., Michael and Jeffrey Fields, grandchildren Jeremy, Patrick, Summer and Noah, great-grandchildren Savanna, Lilly, Syvon, Kiae, Jasmine and Michael, siblings David Fields, Jean Cox, Trula Lanham and Betty Courtney.

Marjorie Elizabeth Tull, of Amelia, passed away in her sleep May 18.

She retired from Kmart after 20 years. She was a caring and loving woman who would always put others before herself. She will be greatly missed by many.

Tull is survived by her children Joyce Tull, Bill Tull, and Sharri Staggs, grandchildren Eric, Roger, Jayson, Sarah, Alex, Danny, Amy, Brian and Kevin, great-grandchildren Jarod, Robby, Carter, Olivia, Tyler, Nathan, Mason and Maddox.

She was preceded in death by her husband William.

Milton Haney, 75, of Loveland, died May 22 in Anderson Township.

Haney was a laborer in the fencing industry. He also served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Deloris, children Kay Sannan and Stephanie Schumacher, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and siblings Shirley Garrison and Jim Haney.

He was preceded in death by his children Sherry and Michael Haney.

Services at 2 p.m. May 27 at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Interment at Laurel Memorial Gardens in Loveland. Memorials to the Kidney Foundation of Ohio, 2831 Prospect Ct., Cleveland, OH 45115.

Frederick Franz, 74

Frederick “Butch” Franz, 74, of Owenton, Ky., died May 17.

Franz was born in New Richmond in 1939 and is formerly of Amelia. He graduated from Amelia High School in 1957 and served six years in the National Guard. He was honorably discharged in 1967. He retired from Cincinnati Milacron after more than 25 years as a machinist and expert lathe operator in the Oakley, Afton and Mt. Orab locations.

He is survived by his son Jason Franz, daughter-in-law Brigid O’Kane and granddaughter Alexandra Franz.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edith Neal and Fred Franz Sr., sisters Meme Lowery and Fern Abbot.

Services were held May 22 at Gwen Mooney Funeral Home. Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery. Military services provided out of respect for his service to our country.

Gay Ingram, 77

Gay “Briar Hopper” Ingram, 77, of Monroe Township, died May 20.

With the help of her late husband Jim, Gay owned and ran Valley Gem Marina floating restaurant in Ripley from 1990-2009. She was an animal lover, an avid gardener and a life-long Reds fan, keeping her own record of wins and losses at a very young age. She put her family’s needs above her own and was extremely devoted to their happiness as well as spoiling her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Ingram is survived by her children Jamie and Teresa Ingram, grandchildren Alexis Ingram, Stacy Louiso and Michelle Mannin, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her two prized dogs Maggie and Ollie.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Michael Ingram, parents Arthur “Red” Stacy and Marie Nipper Stacy and brother Ronnie Stacy.

Visitation 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. services May 24 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Interment at Monroe Township Cemetery. Memorials to the animal shelter of your choice.

Mary (Hampton) Gilpin Worobec, 93, of Ripley, formerly of Lake Worth, Fla., died May 21 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.

Worobec was a graduate of the former Jefferson High School in Blue Creek. She retired from General Electric Corporation in West Palm Beach, Fla., after 25 years and was supervisor.

She is survived by her sister Daphene Scrofe, brother Robert “Bobby” (Millie) Hampton, nieces Ramona Dempsey, Sharon (Bob) Eubanks, Nadine Kattine, Debbie Basham, Sandy Ritchie, Robin Schwartz and Chariti Hampton, nephews Dennis Sissel, Keith Sissel, George Seip and Kevin Hampton.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Joseph and Retta Hampton, first husband William Gilpin, second husband Peter Worobec and siblings Helen Orr and Virginia Manning, and niece Dixie Godfrey.

Memorial service to be held at Lexington Run in Batavia Township at the convenience of the family. Private interment will be held at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery in Blue Creek. Robert Barber, 84

Robert Penrose Barber, 84, of Georgetown, formerly of Felicity, died May 20 at his home.

Barber attended Felicity Franklin School through sixth grade and the “war years” were spent at Ohio Military Academy in College Hill, while his father was a medical officer in the United States Army. He returned to finish high school in Felicity and after graduation, he entered the United States Navy and became an official naval photographer. He then attended Rochester General Hospital where he received a degree in medical photography and was employed by the Decatur and Macon County Hospital in Illinois as their staff photographer.

He received a master’s degree in biological science from the University of Illinois In 1968 and transferred after two years to University of Illinois Circle campus where he pursued an additional degree in neurology. He was asked in 1970 to join a new group of research scientists at City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, Calif. He remained at this endeavor for the next 35 years until his retirement in 2006.

He is survived by his wife Joyce of 57 years, daughter Rebecca Barber, granddaughters Jennifer and Rachel, three great-granddaughters and brothers Donald Barber and Stephen Barber.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Cecil F. and Gladys Barber, son Anthony Barber and sister Marilyn Eich.

Visitation 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. memorial service May 25 at Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown. Memorials to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale-Milford Rd., Blue Ash, OH 45242.

Albert Campbell, 67

Albert “Steve” Campbell, 67, of Goshen, died May 25.

Campbell was a paper cutter. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife Beatrice “Ann” Campbell, children A. Steve Campbell II, Connie (John) Moyer and Joe (Kim) Campbell, grandchildren Michael, Ashley, Stevie III, Christopher, John II, Jessica, Brandon, Jeremy, Ashley and Emily, great-grandchildren Riley, Jayden, Eli and Braxton and loving brothers, sisters, aunts, cousins and friends.

Clifford Earl Colegrove, 85, of Milford, died May 24 in Anderson Township.

Colegrove was a chemist in the research and development industry. He served in the United States Army as a private during World War II.

He is survived by his wife Martha Mary Colegrove, children Caren (David) McGowan, Marc (Julie) Colegrove, Sharyn Brunetti and John Colegrove, grandchildren Tony and John Brunetti and Danny McGowan, and brother Ralph Colegrove.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Clara and brother Harold “Joe” Colegrove.

Services 12:30 p.m. May 29 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Interment at Dayton National Cemetery.
